Trip Introduction:
Spend the Chinese New Year break with an introduction to some old traditions and a dose of adventure! This trip starts by spending the first 2 days of the New Year at the scenic ancient village of Huangyao, where traditional celebrations of dragon dancing, and folk operas, and parades will take place. Then, you will engage in the famous scenic hike along the Li River which stretches about 13.5 KM from Yangdi to Xingping, and should take anywhere from 5-7 hours at leisure speed. Xingping is a small fishing village on the Li River, and the scene looking out to the Li River is depicted on the 20 Yuan bill. Then you will have 2 leisurely days in Yangshuo to explore more scenic spots in the country side and to engage in your recreational activities of choice. This trip is designed to be suitable for the entire family!
